Before starting work, a 2.7 m diameter sleeve, folded using a special technology, is put on the ZPM-180 (ZPM-180p) grain packer. The other end of the sleeve is fixed with a cord or a specially designed locking device.

Next, grain is poured into the ZPM-180 receiving hopper, which is fed into a plastic bag by an auger, the auger is driven by the PTO of an 80 hp tractor through a gearbox.

The auger mechanism of the grain packing machine is driven by the tractor running at idle speed. It is designed to pack the grain tightly into polymer sleeves.

The grain packer and tractor, under the pressure of the grain being loaded into the receiving hopper, move forward, and the filled sleeve remains in place.

The brakes of grain packaging machines regulate the tension of the sleeve. The machine’s productivity allows filling a bag with a capacity of 200 tons in 45-60 minutes.

After the sleeve is filled, its second end, attached to the tunnel of the grain packing machine, is removed and closed similarly to the first.

Storing grain in polymer bags using ZPM-180 grain packaging equipment is:

• storage of the crop for up to 18 months without loss of quality.

The storage period is up to 18 months. The unpacking machine winds the bag onto a roller and unloads the grain from it. The ZRM-180 is aggregated with the MTZ-82 tractor. The design of the unit is such that it does not allow grain loss during extraction.
