LLC “Kobzarenko Plant” serially manufactures 5 models of mineral fertilizer spreaders (RMD) with a lifting capacity of 6-12 tons and the organic fertilizer spreader ROD-12

Having many years of practical experience in cooperation with farmers from different countries, the plant has developed various application systems for different fertilizers and application rates, which is an undeniable advantage of the plant’s equipment.

Each year, the Kobzarenko Plant sells more than 50 units of this equipment, cooperating with farmers throughout the country.

Based on the large selection of mineral fertilizers and their diversity in physical, granulometric and chemical composition, we offer the following equipment:

Mechanisms of operation of RMD mineral fertilizer spreaders

1. Drive from the spreader wheel.

The conveyor is driven by the tread of the wheel. A hydraulic cylinder lowers a metal wheel that copies the tread and thus drives the conveyor. This system is used on two models of mineral fertilizer spreaders RMD-6 and RMD-8;

2. Drive from the tractor’s PTO via the cardan shaft.

It is used when it is necessary to apply a large amount of fertilizers (defecate, lime, gypsum). This application system can be installed on all models of mineral fertilizer spreaders;

3. Drive from the brake drum.

A sprocket is installed on the brake drum, which, when the trailer is moving, drives the conveyor through a chain transmission. It is installed on two models of mineral fertilizer spreaders RMD-12 and RMD-20;

4. The hydraulic drive is controlled by a computer.

Fully protects against dirt and is independent of weather conditions (slipperiness, dirt sticking to the wheels)

The electronic system controls the tractor’s autonomous hydraulic system depending on the set rate of mineral fertilizer application. It consists of an oil pump (driven by the tractor’s PTO), an oil tank, a hydraulic motor and a reducer, which drives the conveyor. It is installed on mineral fertilizer spreaders RMD-12 and RMD-20.

The disc rotation speed is up to 1000 rpm. Rauch stainless steel discs with a diameter of 425 mm are installed on the spreader:

  • S4 (application width up to 24 m)
  • S6 (application width up to 36 m).

Both plates have two different blades, one longer, the other shorter.

Fertilizer spreaders with precise application system

Kobzarenko Plant LLC was the first Ukrainian plant to start manufacturing fertilizer spreaders with a precise 12-ton application system (RMD-12). This system is integrated into the fertilizer spreader and consists of:

  • hydraulic machines (driven by tractor PTO) with hydraulic tank;
  • a gearbox that drives the conveyor;
  • hydraulically adjustable damper;
  • stainless steel Rauch plates (hydraulic drive);
  • weight system and computer Dinamica generale (Italy).

The principle of operation of this system is simple, even a schoolboy can handle its settings – before starting work, the tractor driver only needs to enter the application rate per 1 hectare and the type of mineral fertilizer used into the program – and that’s it. The speed of the tractor does not affect the dosage, the computer automatically regulates it. When the tractor speed decreases, the computer automatically reduces the oil supply to the conveyor drive, after which the conveyor speed decreases. And vice versa. The computer monitors the change in the speed of movement through a sensor located on the trailer wheel. The uniformity of fertilizer application also depends on the point of mineral fertilizer supply to the plate, the position of the plate itself and its design. The position of the plates is adjusted using a movable bracket that moves the plates back and forth from the supply point.

Fertilizer spreader production technology

“Kobzarenko Plant” manufactures spreaders both from ordinary steel, which is painted with special polymer paints, and from stainless steel. All spreaders are equipped with a rubber or metal bar conveyor as standard.

The bar conveyor allows you to apply not only granular fertilizers, but also feces, gypsum, dry chicken manure, as well as sand for sprinkling roads during icy conditions.

The rubber studded belt conveyor prevents lumps of compacted mineral fertilizers from slipping – by crushing them with spikes against the flap. Only the studded belt conveyor, thanks to the spikes, is able to withstand the application rate 100%.

In addition, the frame of the RMD-12 and RMD-20 chassis is universal; it can be equipped with a body of a loading hopper-accumulator, a barrel, or a regular dump body, transforming it without any problems into one of the above-mentioned units.

In the line of spreaders of the “Kobzarenko Plant” there is a real giant – a 20 t RMD-20 mineral fertilizer spreader. Which, when fed with wheat with 30 kg of dry matter (100 kg of physical mass), covers 200 hectares with one refueling. A large volume and a computer that records any change in weight make theft impossible, and also significantly reduces the refueling time and the application period. This spreader is equipped with wide-profile tires, which allows you to drive across the field without laying tracks.
