The DRAGO GT corn header is a professional unit for effective corn harvesting without losses of ears and grain. Automatic disengagement plates adjust to different stems, while dampers soften the impact of ears, reducing grain loss. The double shredding system “scissor effect” evenly crushes stems for better distributed stubble in the field, and large augers ensure smooth crop feeding even in challenging conditions. Ideal for farms of any scale.

How it works:

DragoGT corn headers – have several exclusive patented features, namely:
– Automatic row breaker adjustment system
– Two chopper units with scissor effect
Thanks to the high performance of the Drago GT, you will achieve a new level of productivity and crop quality, and, as a result, increased profitability.

With the DragoGT headers, you can harvest corn without losing cobs or kernels.
The world’s only headers with automatically adjustable damping discontinuous rows

Main advantages:
– shock-absorbing rows that break off corn stalks.
The initial breaker rows are equipped with a special shock-absorbing device that absorbs shocks when the cobs fall:
The cobs are broken off smoothly, which minimizes losses and eliminates grain slippage between rows.
Advantage: complete harvesting without losses, high productivity.

– automatically adjustable tear-off lines.
The span of the breakaway rows is automatically adjusted to suit different stem sizes. The self-adjustment works independently for each row. The operator does not need to make any adjustments.
The advantage: complete harvesting without losses.

– Extra-long molding refined rollers
The molding refined rollers are longer than conventional headers, which ensures low-speed, low-speed corn cob separation.
The advantage: smooth corn cob separation, complete harvest without losses.

– Large augers and low-profile design
The DragoGT is equipped with a new large auger (Ø 500 mm, the largest in the industry) that ensures high feed rates for lying and dry maize cobs, thus avoiding clogging and loss of kernels. The spur gear of the auger, which is located in an oil bath, does not require additional maintenance. This makes it possible to use the combine with maximum productivity.
The side augers and low-profile design allow for full harvesting even with stunted ears.

– Working Angle 18
Unlike other headers, the breakaway system makes a very small angle with the ground when working. This makes the process of collecting lying stalks easy.
Moreover, the low angle of the breakaway mechanism prevents the corn cobs from jumping out of the machine.

– Adjustment holes of the adapter: 18°
On every make and model of combine with the DragoGT, the required working position can be set 18 to ensure loss-free harvesting. The adjusting hooks are used to set the optimum working position regardless of the size of the combine wheels.

– Finer chopping compared to other shredders
The DragoGT is equipped with a world-unique dual scissor effect stem shredder: four blades on each side. Equipped with a scissors-like reverse rotation function, two of them are located on one side and the other two on the opposite side. This device, patented by Olimac, chops the stalks twice as fine: the chopped stalks are scattered evenly on the ground.

– Low power consumption
Double shredders with scissor effect have low power consumption compared to that of a single shredder.
