How it works:
Header for harvesting sunflower and millet
Harvesting chains.
The harvesting chains are made with special rubber pins that gently grip the stalks and guide them to the conveyor with a screw, which prevents crop loss.
Special cutting system.
The sunflower is cut by two rotating knives made of red-hot steel in opposite directions. Due to the high speed of rotation, the cutting takes place without shaking the sunflower, which prevents the loss of seeds.
Large-diameter screw conveyor with safety clutch.
The Drago Gold is equipped with a large-diameter auger conveyor (Ø 500 mm, the largest on the market in this field), which ensures the highest feed rate, thus preventing clogging and crop loss. Thanks to this exclusive quality, the header can be used with record-breaking performance for dry harvesting.
Another important feature of the header is the safety clutch, which protects the auger conveyor from damage and wear.

Hood
The bathtub-shaped hood collects falling product and prevents losses during harvesting.

The Drago Gold is the only sunflower header equipped with two safety clutches on each row.
This protection protects the chains with rubber pins and the knives in the opposite direction from excessive loads. Each element of the sweeper is protected individually.
Adjusting joints with‘connection to the harvester.
The Drago Gold header maintains the most optimal working angle of 12° for a full, loss-free harvest. Adjustable joints allow the optimum working height to be maintained regardless of the height of the combine wheels.
External gearbox in an oil bath.
The Drago Gold is equipped with a gearbox that operates in an oil bath without the need for refilling. There is no need for maintenance. Full protection against dirt and foreign objects.
Factory protective grille
The Drago Gold cutterbar is equipped with a protective grid on the outlet.
Built-in stem chopper.
As an option, the Drago Gold can be equipped with a hydraulic stalk chopper with a minimum absorption blade. If necessary, the chopper can be installed after purchase.
The lower chopper works at the same height while the combine raises or lowers the header body as required.
